Online access

Electronic Access Agreement (for end-customers)

We ask that an authorised representative of each end-customer (library, institute, etc.) carefully read the appropriate Electronic Access Agreement, then sign it, and return a facsimile copy of the signed agreement to us by mail or fax. By signing the agreement, you declare that you understand the terms and condition of use of our online and electronic journal content.

Each customer needs to sign an electronic access agreement just once, and thereafter only when and if International Press (or the customer) finds it necessary to modify any of the terms of the agreement.

We have just two electronic access agreements: One to sign if you subscribe to the Journal of Differential Geometry, and another to sign if you subscribe to any other International Press journal. Simply click here to download a PDF of either document:

Online access control

For institutional subscribers, we provide access to the online content of our journals, and to the annual books Surveys in Differential Geometry and Current Developments in Mathematics.

Online access is strictly by IP (internet protocol) address, not by username/password.

International Press keeps on file the IP address data of each subscribing institution. This IP address data applies to any and all subscriptions held by that institution. The data must be provided to us just once, and thereafter only when it changes.

Submitting IP address data changes, reporting lack of proper access

To submit IP address data changes, to report lack of proper online access to your subscription material, or to otherwise inquire about online access, please send an e-mail to .

Online access policy: Journal of Differential Geometry

Upon purchase of a journal, the subscribing institution immediately receives ongoing and permanent access, for all futurity, to all online issues (of that journal) of the paid subscription year itself, and to all years prior to that subscription year.

If a customer chooses not to renew their subscription to a journal, the customer shall continue to receive permanent and ongoing access to all online issues (of that journal) of the last-paid subscription year, and from all years prior to the last-paid subscription year.

Please note: Access to back-issues of the Journal of Differential Geometry is restricted to customers with current or recent subscriptions—for the year 2005 or later—to the journal.

Online access policy: all other International Press journals

Upon purchase of a journal, the subscribing institution immediately receives ongoing and permanent access, for all futurity, to all online issues (of that journal) of the paid subscription year itself, and to all years prior to that subscription year.

If a customer chooses not to renew their subscription to a journal, the customer shall continue to receive permanent and ongoing access to all online issues (of that journal) of the last-paid subscription year, and from all years prior to the last-paid subscription year.

All older online journal issues—from subscription years four (4) or more prior to the current calendar year—have no access restrictions, and are entirely free for anyone to access online. Thus:

International Press reserves the right to change its online access policy at any time.

Open-access journals

The journals Dynamics of Partial Differential Equations (DPDE) and Homology, Homotopy and Applications (HHA) have been entirely open-access till now, but we are no longer able to sustain this policy. Therefore, beginning with subscription year 2014, new issues of DPDE and HHA will no longer be open-access: Online access to their full text will require a subscription.

Our normal online-access policy (see above) will then apply to DPDE and HHA—with the following exceptions:

Archiving

A subscribing institution is free to copy and archive online subscription material. The extent, and usage, of such archived material is limited by copyright law, and by our written online access agreement with the institution.

Usage statistics: Journal of Differential Geometry

COUNTER-3-compliant usage statistics are available at no charge for subscribers to the Journal of Differential Geometry, from Project Euclid, the online hosting platform of the journal. A one-time registration with Project Euclid is all that is required.

Please note, however, that prior to March 15, 2013 the contents of the Journal of Differential Geometry was hosted on both Project Euclid and on the International Press website: users accessed the journal’s content from both locations. Therefore, usage statistics for the journal on Project Euclid for any period before that date will not reflect the full usage of the journal.

Usage statistics for the journal on Project Euclid for any period after March 15, 2013 will reflect the full usage of the journal.

To register, or to obtain your usage statistics at any time, please visit Project Euclid’s User Statistics page.

For assistance with registration, or for any matter pertaining to usage statistics, please contact Project Euclid.

Usage statistics: all other International Press journals

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide web site usage statistics reports to journals other than the Journal of Differential Geometry, due to technical limitations. We intend to implement usage statistics tracking for all our journals at some point in the future.
